All the staff at Woodford House Dental Practice are approachable, and we’re happy to answer questions about your treatment or any dental issues. As a team, our primary aim is to help you keep your mouth healthy and comfortable for your lifetime – and for you to maintain a set of well-functioning teeth for as long as possible. In our practice you can be assured of a warm welcome – and genuine care and attention.

Lead Clinician

Dr Amjad Malik  BDS DGDP RCS (UK)

GDC No. 57191

In a career spanning 40 years during which he has continually updated his knowledge and technical skills, Dr Malik has accumulated a wealth of experience in treating patients. Having a particular interest in implants, bite disorders and reconstructive dentistry he is able to deal with a wide range of patients’ needs from routine care to jaw joint problems and heavily broken-down teeth. Dr Evangelina Gazani DDS MSc (Endo)

GDC No. 174743

Dr Gazani qualified from the Dental School of Aristotle University at Thessaloniki in Greece, before completing the Masters’ Programme in Endodontics with Distinction at the Eastman Dental Institute in London – where she is now a Specialty Doctor. At Woodford House she accepts referrals for root canal treatment and all other non-surgical endodontic processes to save natural teeth. In her personal time, she enjoys being with her husband and children.


Dr Spencer Richman BDS MSc (Endo)

GDC No. 80497

Dr Richman qualified from Manchester University in 2002 and obtained a Master’s degree in Endodontology in 2015. He has teaching experience and is on the panel of examiners for the Royal College of Surgeons. Spencer’s particular focus is on providing root canal treatment and all other non-surgical endodontic processes that save natural teeth – and he is happy to accept referrals. In his leisure time, he enjoys time with his wife and children, cycling and at the gym.


Dr Hanmeng Ma BDS MFDS RCS (Ed)

GDC No. 193176

Dr Ma qualified from King’s College London with Honours, and passed her Royal College of Surgeons exams in 2012. Since then, she has attended a variety of postgraduate courses to diversify her skills, which include aesthetic dentistry. Dr Ma enjoys working with her patients – always with the aim of keeping their natural teeth for life. She is also happy to improve smiles conservatively using tooth whitening and short-term adult braces, or with minimal preparation veneers.


Stephanie Norris  BSc (Hons), EDH, Dip DHE

GDC No. 3341

Stephanie qualified as a hygienist from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1987, and has worked in hospital and private practice settings. Over the years she has undertaken numerous training courses to enhance her skills and stay abreast with new developments. Her approach is calm, gentle and supportive so all her patients feel at ease. Stephanie has particular experience in working with nervous adults and children. Away from work, Stephanie enjoys socialising with friends and family.

Senior Dental Assistant

Victoria Churkina

GDC No. 148783

Victoria qualified in 2008. She has been Senior Dental Nurse at Woodford House for several years, during which time she has regularly increased her knowledge and skills by attending postgraduate courses. She holds a certificate in dental radiography and can take impressions. Her friendly, caring nature and exceptional organisational skills are a great asset to the practice. In her own time, she likes to travel – especially exploring different parts of the UK on walking holidays.

Dental nurse

Izabela Wieteska

GDC No. 204395

Izabela has been part of the team since 2017. She is a dental nurse experienced in endodontic, orthodontic and general dentistry. Izabela particularly enjoys treating children, but her calming manner is welcomed by patients of all ages – especially those who are more nervous. At home, Izabela enjoys baking – and makes sure the whole team at Improve Your Smile are kept happy with her delicious cakes!

Ausra Bucinskaite

Ausra has recently completed her dental nurse training, and qualified in November 2020. She enjoys helping with all aspects of dentistry, but particularly cosmetic treatments because patients look so happy when they see the results! In her spare time Ausra enjoys long walks in the countryside, and good food.

Practice Manager

Moona Malik

Moona has worked at Improve Your Smile for many years managing the practice, coordinating patient appointments and overseeing the financial side. Moona particularly enjoys talking to patients, many of whom have become friends. Her calm, caring manner puts people at ease. She is always delighted when patients express happiness with the service at Woodford House – especially those who were initially nervous about seeing a dentist. Away from the practice, Moona is one of the judges for the annual Dentistry Awards. In her spare time Moona enjoys being with her family, cooking and going to the theatre.

Nutritional therapist

Adele Dobson BA(Hons) AdvDipNutMed MNNA MIFM

Adele Dobson is a qualified and experienced nutritional therapist who works with patients to improve their general level of health. Her approach is particularly helpful with the following: digestive health, female and hormonal health, chronic fatigue syndrome, ME and fibromyalgia, immune dysregulation or autoimmune disorders including allergies, optimising nutrition for special diets, and for improving general health. She adopts a Functional Medicine approach involving treatment of the whole person, rather than just the symptoms.
