    Dr Hanmeng MaBDS MFDS RCS (Ed)
    GDC No. 193176

    Dr Ma qualified from King’s College London with Honours, and passed her Royal College of Surgeons exams in 2012. Since then, she has attended a variety of postgraduate courses to diversify her skills, which include aesthetic dentistry. Dr Ma enjoys working with her patients to improve their oral health with the aim of keeping their natural teeth for life. She is also happy to improve smiles conservatively with tooth whitening and short-term adult braces, or minimal preparation veneers.

    Catherine Galloway

    Catherine qualified as a dental hygienist from Guy's Hospital in 2000. She still enjoys attending postgraduate training courses whenever she can, keeping up-to-date with new developments in the area of dental health. Before joining the staff at Woodford House, she worked in private practices in London's West End. Catherine enjoys working with both adults and children, and takes a strong interest in patients’ health and welfare, making a point of teaching her patients the best way to maintain their dental health. Nervous patients find her informal and friendly manner quickly puts them at their ease.

    Amy Melia, Dip. Dent. Hygiene and Therapy

    Amy graduated from Newcastle School of Dental Hygiene and Therapy, with Merit, in December 2011. Before that she worked as a dental nurse for 8 years. She has been working in the practice as a hygienist and therapist providing oral health care to patients ever since. Amy regularly attends postgraduate training courses and has a particular interest in Periodontics. She enjoys working with patients to educate them about dental disease and gets great job satisfaction in improving people's oral health.

    Amanda White

    Amanda joined the team in 2010. She is the senior dental receptionist and is the first point of contact for new patients. Amanda qualified as a dental assistant in 1996, and has a wealth of related knowledge and experience. Amanda enjoys getting to know the patients and aims to provide the highest level of customer care. She is happy to assist people wishing to arrange an appointment and to answer any questions about the practice.
  • Senior Dental Assistant

    Victoria Churkina

    Victoria is the senior dental nurse at Woodford House. She qualified in 2008 and has continued to extend her knowledge and skills with postgraduate courses on a regular basis. She holds a certificate in dental radiography, and can take impressions. Victoria has been at Woodford House for 5 years. Her friendly, caring nature and exceptional organization skills are a great asset to the practice.

    Stephanie Norris, BSc (Hons), EDH, Dip DHE
    GDC No. 3341

    Stephanie qualified as a hygienist from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1987 and has worked in both hospital and private practice settings. Over the years as dentistry has become more complex, she has undertaken numerous training courses to add to and enhance her skills – always keen to keep up with new developments. Her approach is calm, gentle and supportive so all her patients feel at ease. Stephanie has particular experience in working with nervous adults and children.
  • Practice Manager

    Moona Malik

    Moona has worked at Improve Your Smile for over 25 years. As well as managing the practice, Moona helps patients coordinate their appointments and sees to the financial side of things too. She particularly enjoys talking to patients, many of whom have become friends over the years. Moona's calm and caring manner makes people feel at ease and she is always delighted when patients express happiness and satisfaction with the service at Improve Your Smile – especially those who were initially nervous about seeing a dentist at all.
    Away from the practice, Moona is one of the judges for the annual 'Dentistry Awards'.
